WELCOME TO YOGA AT PYRAMIDS OF CHI!

Housed in the Pyramid of the Earth, overlooking terraced rice fields for as far as the eye can see on one side and our serene, meditative gardens on the other. The energy in this mostly teak and iron wood Pyramid must be felt to be believed. The space can be completely opened to the elements or safely closed with controlled temperature and surround sound stereo.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga as exercise with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time.

For beginners, it may range from two to five minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for ten minutes or more.

Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

A meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality, release deep held tension, emotion and resistance. It is a wonderful balance to a Yang (Vinyasa/Hatha) practice.

You will receive a refreshing a welcome juice on arrival, sanitised yoga mats and blocks for your session and free flow, filtered water throughout. Please, bring your own towel. Bookings recommended online to secure your spot or show up early to pay on arrival. We will go ahead with as little as one participant!

PEBI
Pebi started practicing yoga when she was just 17-years old. She practises every day at sunrise and sunset when she feels most connected to the beautiful energy of nature and the universe. 

Pebi’s most cherished moments are when she can share her practise with her students. She began to teach after completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Sacred Heart, Ubud many years ago.

RALDO
Raldo was introduced to Yoga in 2014 by working at a wellness resort in North Bali and found the practice a deep way to appreciate and love his body.

After 2-years of self-practise he spent 6-months in a yoga retreat centre where he completed his first Yoga Teacher Training with Gokul Yoga. Since then, he has become a resident teacher at a lovely local studio called Yoga Saraswati and Amandari Resort. He is teaching public and private classes for several resorts and yoga retreat centres around Ubud.

Raldo teaches yoga with simplicity, respect, and joy with attention on proper alignment of the asanas and mindfulness of the breath. In November 2018 he went to Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Centre in India for his second training to add more knowledge and experience to his practise.

AYU
Ayu started practicing yoga at the age of 25 to provide incredible energy to the body, mind, and spirit.

In 2016 she started actively participating in workshops and yoga teacher training here in Bali to increase her knowledge as a provision for becoming an instructor. Ayu now instructs in several institutions including major hotels, private residences, retreat centres and studios.
