Healing using the power of sound and vibration is one of the most natural and oldest ways of healing known to humankind, dating back more than 3000 years. There are many modalities of sound healing, but one of the most effective and practiced ways is by “Tibetan singing bowls”. The session of sound massage therapy using these Tibetan bowls has proved to be extremely effective through centuries.

The vibration of the Tibetan bowls on a person’s body can have profound effects for the mind, body and spirit bringing the receiver back into natural balance and harmony.

During the session Tibetan singing bowls may be placed directly on and around the body depending on the clients needs. Tuning forks may also be used on the body to assist in opening the energetic pathways of the receiver. Other instruments such as gong and shamanic drum may also be used to guide you into a deeper state of relaxation and release.

The vibrational effects of Singing Bowls on a person’s body, mind and energy flow is an incredible inner journey to experience which may assist in reducing stress, healing pain, or depression and guiding us into a deep sense of peace and wellbeing. One of the main reasons the Tibetan singing bowl can have such profound effects on us is because the vibrations are balancing the Chakra system within the body.

What are Chakras?

Chakras are energy vortices within the body which originate in the ancient Indian system of healing and well as in Buddhist traditions. Most literature discusses seven main chakras but there are literally hundreds of energy centers all over the body and around the energy field of a person.

Chakras are the connection between the spiritual aspect of our being and the physical. When a physical, mental or emotional dysfunction is being experienced in the body, one or more chakras are considered to be blocked or unbalanced.

The 7 main chakras in the body are distinct energy centers that start at the top of your head and end at the bottom of your spine. They regulate all aspects of the human experience and can effect everything from your emotional body to resistance to disease to how you show up in the world energetically.

What is Chakra balancing?

Chakra balancing is the process of restoring a harmonious flow of energy across the chakra system. The effect of well balanced chakras often translates into a feeling of well-being, relaxation, centeredness, increased vitality and embodiment of oneself.

The frequencies produced by the Tibetan singing bowl naturally cause the Chakra to come back into balance. When this alignment occurs, health and well-being can all come into balance, creating deep harmony within and without.

Not only do the vibrations produced by the bowls balance the Chakra system, but also help to harmonize each and every cell in the person’s body, as well as having a soothing, hypnotic effect on the brain, slowing down the brain waves inducing a deep meditative state and allowing access to the sub-conscious mind.

The science behind this method is slowly being uncovered in modern medicine and is starting to measure as well as validate its ability to heal our body, mind, and soul.
