Welcome to the Island of the Gods!

This retreat is being hosted at a unique location built for acoustics and sound healing, the Pyramids of Chi in Ubud. We're super excited to explore our maximal resonance in this sacred space!

Our Bali retreat schedule allows for deep practice and skills training, as well as delicious shared meals and community connection. There's plenty of time for rest, self-care and play on this beautiful island!

Anandra will be joined by Heart of Sound teacher training graduates, Balinese soul family, and local musicians from the thriving expat community in what is sure to be a delightful confluence of inspiring, heart-opening musical adventure!

Featuring sound-based communion practices and teacher training quality skill learning material.


Find your heart's voice and sing in our daily devotional mantra and music sessions!

You'll experience sound as a vibrant connection to Self, and understand how it transforms all aspects of your being.


Learn sound-based yoga skills to begin, refine, or enrich your home chanting practice!

You'll gain a basic foundation in voice culture, Indian music, harmonium, and Sanskrit mantra pronunciation.


Listen to what's deeply alive in you as you tune your precious body instrument.

You'll practice tools for self-regulating your nervous system for physical, emotional, and mental health.

Relax into Full Aliveness

Melt your stresses into a rich experience of Bali's special flavor of heaven on earth. We'll enjoy a slow island pace filled with presence and celebrating simple pleasures with all 5 senses:

  • Taste Food as medicine: vibrant, gorgeous vegetarian meals prepared on site by an integrative nutritionist
  • Touch the lush greenery and feel the soft earth under your bare feet
  • See the picturesque rice paddies during (optional, self-paced) morning walks after breakfast
  • Smell the tropical fecundity in the island's abundance of flowers and fruits
  • Hear the sound of your own heart’s voice singing in concert with nature and like-minded souls

Deep morning Heart of Sound practice with nāda yoga and mantra meditation

9:30 – 11:00
Vibrant breakfast together and your own exercise – a stretch on the lawns or walk through the rice paddies

11:00 – 1:00
Heart of Sound skills training and lecture time (optional for those attending solely as a retreat)


1:00 – 3:00
Food as Medicine lunch together on site, followed by lounging, reading, and rest

3:00 – 4:30
Relaxing yogāsana and guided self-massage to tune your body instrument especially for our penetrating sound-based practices


Most evenings will be free for spontaneous group chant experience, dancing, or other play as inspiration arises!

There's ample time to repose, listen in to your own flow, rejuvenate in nature, and enjoy good company!

Dinner is on your own in Ubud, the healthy food lover's paradise.

On our first evening, we'll have a group kīrtan and dinner together on site.

On our final evening, we're planning a kīrtan that'll be open to the public as well!

Led by Anandra George

Internationally respected Mantra teacher and Sacred Sound practitioner, Anandra George, leads Chant and Kirtan at some of the world’s largest Yoga Festivals around the globe.

She has taught Sanskrit Mantra meditation to students world- wide and has created the world’s first registered yoga teacher training based entirely on the transformational power of sound, including Sanskrit, Mantra, Indian classical vocal meditation, and non-violent communication for everyday life.

Anandra is a pioneer in the global yoga community, re-introducing the ancient practice of sound as a fundamental practice. American by birth, Indian by soul, and global citizen by expression, she helps people transform their limiting belief systems and cultivate their most fulfilling contribution to the world. She is dynamic, devotional and full of deep practical wisdom.

Anandra (Heart of Sound Founder) leads of our morning chant experiences and offers the primary course content.

Heart of Sound graduate Jason Stotz will lead the afternoon yogāsana and self-massage sessions.
