NADABRAHMA MEDITATION GROUNDING THROUGH SOUND, BRING BODY AND MIND INTO HARMONY

Nadabrahma is a mantra (humming)meditation, based on an ancient Tibetan method. It is a technique to open you to trust, calm the mind, balance emotions & recharge your energy; allowing you to surrender into deeper states of serenity & ecstasy. Through humming & hand movements all the cells of the body start vibrating. Conflicting parts within yourself start attuning, and you bring harmony to your whole being. This helps to become a witness and watch from the outside. Part of this meditation is about connecting to your own and the universal energy through states of giving and receiving. This has a profound effect on balancing masculine and feminine qualities within, and in aspects of your life. The meditation is followed by a restorative sound bath, with Himalayan & Crystal bowls.

When we hum, our subatomic particles are affected by vibrations. This means that sound can actually change our cells’ molecular structure, causing huge implications for us, as hundreds of different benefits can derive from this act.

Our autonomic nervous system is divided into Sympathetic, Parasympathetic and Enteric. The former is responsible for the way we react in times of stress, danger or strong emotions, the second is responsible for relaxing and bringing the system back to balance and the third one governs the gastrointestinal tract and can be only partially influenced by the other two.

A principal role in the Parasympathetic system is played by theVagus Nerve, which is connecting our brain to our chest and stomach, passing through our throat. Its shape makes this nerve very sensitive to sounds. In fact, if hit by vibrations, it can spread them through its way to the organs it meets. As side effects of this, our heart rate slows down, our blood vessels dilate and our blood pressure reduces,our digestion activates and our energy is stored. All these benefits contribute to our general reduction of stress.

Benefits of mantra

Mantra is one of the most potential ways. It is a very simple yet tremendously effective, because when you chant a mantra or you chant a sound your body starts vibrating.

Your brain cells paricuarly start vibrating. If rightly done your whole brain becomes vibrant, and the whole body also.

Once the body starts vibrating and your mind is already chanting, they both fall in a tune. When body and mind are both together, you are free from body and mind. Then the third element which you are in reality, call it soul, spirit, atma, is at ease because it is not being pulled in different directions.
